A thousand miles is a long way. It is, roughly the distance from New York City to Miami Florida! Now imagine running that distance mostly in the dark, at forty-below zero, for days on end in some of the most remote, rugged, and unforgiving country this world has to offer... Well, that is what we signed up for, and that is the Yukon Quest! This team was firing on all cylinders last season and we look forward to the challenge of the 1000 mile Yukon Quest Trail this coming season. But there is a lot needed to get us there, thousands of booties, dog coats, entry fees, thousands of pounds of dog food, fuel bills, vaccines, sled bags, headlamp batteries, etc... There are thousands of dollars of hidden costs to racing sled dogs. Running the Yukon Quest is a $15,000 investment. I certainly do work my butt off, but we certainly can not do these races without a community of support! Help us travel along this historic trail this season, let's see if we can get 1000 miles sponsored! For $2 or roughly the cost of a cup of coffee your contribution will go a long way to helping us succeed this season in one of the most challenging races in the world!
